Job Descriptions:

One of our best clients is looking for Boilermaker to start working recently.

Main Duties:

• To conduct fabrication, cutting and grinding
• To conduct planned maintenance and mechanical installations
• Welding duties
• To assist in the compilation of work procedures and risk assessments
• To conduct on-the-job training
• To build conveyers, shoots and structures
• Implementation of preventative maintenance programs
• To maintain current structures and conveyers
• Knowledge of building and refurbishing Bell Logger grabs (advantageous)

Main Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Must be computer literate
• Must have trade certificate in Boilermaker
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (sawmill industry advantageous)
• Knowledge of welding principles
• Must have working knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Knowledge and understanding of plant equipment and processes
• Must have knowledge pertaining to lock out and isolation procedures
• Must have good communication skills
• Practical, problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be medically fit
• Must have valid driver’s license and willing to travel for onsite work
