Job Descriptions:

One of our best clients is looking for Quality Officer to start working recently.

Main Duties:

• Do develop and setting up Project Quality Management Plans.
• To establish, as a part of the Project Quality Management Plan, the Site Quality Management Plan (including audits programme).
• To ensure that the Infrastructure Project requirements are understood by all parties.
• To check the Contractors Quality Control Plan and ensuring that the QCP is followed
• To check the Contractors QC procedures to ensure they are consistent with Project QC procedure.
• To co-ordinate inspections and tests and sign off in line with the QCPs.

• To perform audits (inter/external) on TNPA project personnel and contractor personnel, to ensure they are working in compliance with their approved working procedures.
• To manage the NCR registers and following-up to ensure close out of NCRs.
• To recommend and follow up on corrective actions to preclude internal (or external) deficiencies.
• Must have a clear record of authorized administrative or contractual documents, for TNPA and Contractors personnel.
• To ensuring that all necessary quality construction records such as inspection and test documents are filed and maintained properly in compliance with Transnet document management requirements.
• Reporting to the Project Manager the status of the Quality Management System and suggest improvements to the Quality Management System.
• Participating in tender evaluation for the Quality discipline.
• Participating in Project Gate Reviews for the Quality discipline.

Main Requirements:

• Must at least 3 years’ experience in quality management in a multidisciplinary project management environment with at least 6 months supervisory exposure and Quality Management / Technical Diploma
• Must have minimum of 8 years’ experience in quality management in a multidisciplinary project management environment with 12 months supervisory experience and Grade 12.
